The Bay tree is an endemic evergreen tree in the Mediterranean region whose leafs were already used in cooking by ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. It’s present in European cooking in all types of dishes.  

Suggestions: meat, fish, sausages and smoked, boiled, grilled, baked, stewed or casseroles, fish soups, potatoes, rice and sauces.
